Jennifer Kerber

Jennifer A. Kerber has broad experience in public affairs and government relations gained through comprehensive work with Congress and the Administration. Ms. Kerber brings nearly 10 years of experience advocating and promoting technology and security policy issues at the federal and state level.

In her current position, Ms. Kerber focuses on the use of information technology for homeland security and law enforcement applications and has a special focus on identity management issues. As part of her work for ITAA, Ms. Kerber handles homeland security issues of interest to ITAA members including; Identity Management, RFID, First Responder issues, SAFETY Act, privacy, information sharing and border security. Ms. Kerber is responsible for ITAA's annual Identity Management Conference and she also handles the Federal Health IT Committee for the association.

Prior to joining ITAA, Ms. Kerber spent several years as a Director in the Federal Marketing and Lobbying practice of the Jefferson Consulting Group (JCG), a small, woman-owned professional services firm in Washington, DC. In that position Ms. Kerber worked with leading integrators, content providers, and homeland security technology developers on legislative and federal marketing representation.

Before moving to Washington, D.C., Ms. Kerber spent several years working in the Texas political environment where she served as a staffer in the Texas Legislature and ran a state political campaign.

Ms. Kerber earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a minor in Journalism from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. She is a Red Cross disaster services volunteer.
