Brendan Herron

Brendan Herron is the Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy of CURRENT Group, LLC. In his role, Mr. Herron spends a significant amount of time working with utility executives, government officials, environmental groups and regulators around the world on Smart Grid related topics. Mr. Herron also has significant experience building high growth companies in emerging technologies. Prior to joining CURRENT in 2005, Mr. Herron focused on private equity investments in technology infrastructure and enterprise software for Hannon Armstrong, a boutique merchant bank. He also served as the VP, Corporate Development & Strategy for Aggregate Industries Plc and with Ernst & Young as a strategic consultant. He has completed approximately 30 M&A transactions, holds a B.S. in computer science and accounting and an M.B.A. from Loyola College of Maryland and has passed the CPA and CMA examinations.

CURRENT is a leader in enabling electric utilities worldwide to deploy and manage a Smart Grid benefiting utilities, consumers and the environment.
