Elizabeth Frazee

Elizabeth Frazee is Co-Founder of TwinLogic Strategies. With over twenty years of government affairs and industry experience, including Vice President of Public Policy at AOL TimeWarnerand also Director of Government Relations at the Walt Disney Company, Elizabeth has earned a reputation of providing valuable government relations representation to companies and nonprofits of all sizes.

Through the years Elizabeth has developed a wide network of contacts on the Hill and in Federal agencies as well as in the Washington government relations, technology and entertainment communities. Her clients have included TRUSTe, Chevron, Dell, Goodmail, TimeWarner, the United Way of America and others. She also serves as executive director of the Entertainment Industry Coalition for Free Trade.

Before entering private practice, Elizabeth spent over twelve years on Capitol Hill. Beginning as a staff member for a U.S. Senator from her native state of North Carolina, she rose through the ranks, serving as Minority Press Secretary for the House Energy and Commerce Committee and Representative Tom Bliley. She later served as Legislative Director and Chief Counsel for Representative Bob Goodlatte, current Co-Chairman of the Congressional Internet Caucus and a senior member of the House Judiciary Committee. As Goodlatte's top legislative aide for almost five years, Elizabeth handled the Congressman's work on the House Judiciary Committee and was heavily involved in many of the bipartisan cutting edge technology and intellectual property issues of the time including Internet liability, privacy and digital copyright issues.

While at Disney, Elizabeth negotiated the Digital Millennium Copyright Act notice and takedown regime on behalf of the MPAA studios and worked with the FTC and Congress to help draft the Children's Online Privacy and Protection Act (COPPA). At AOL she worked on intellectual property and e-commerce issues, including Internet tax, online liability and privacy, and also became a specialist on children's online safety through her work for the COPA Commission. She has continued to be actively involved in these issues for her clients in private practice.

As a trade advocate, Elizabeth has helped lead industry coalitions on every major trade vote since Congress extended Normal Trade Relations treatment to China in 2000.

Ms. Frazee earned her law degree from the Columbus School of Law at the Catholic University of America, while working full-time for Congress. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
