Ioana Rusu

Regulatory Counsel for Consumers Union

Ioana Rusu, Regulatory Counsel for Consumers Union, the public policy and advocacy division of Consumer Reports®, advocates for strong online privacy and data security standards for consumers. She has previously testified before Congress on data security issues. Ioana also helps oversee the organization's federal regulatory filings, including those affecting food and consumer product safety. Ioana is a magna cum laude graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and holds a bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service.
