Julian Sanchez

Washington Editor, Ars Technica

Julian Sanchez is a Washington, D.C.-based writer and journalist who covers the intersection of privacy, technology, and politics-along with almost anything else that strikes his fancy. He currently serves as Washington Editor for the technology news site Ars Technica and is also a contributing editor for Reason magazine.

In the past, Julian has been a Reason assistant editor, a blogger for The Economist's Democracy in America, and a staff writer at the Cato Institute. He studied philosophy and political science at New York University before moving to D.C. in 2002.
